I grew up in Auckland and studied Architecture at Auckland University before traveling overseas, then moving to Nelson in 2000. I instantly felt connected and at home, made lifelong friends and became a part of the Nelson professional community. I moved away for a few years and returned with my three young kids who are now young adults completing high school and studying and working around New Zealand.

My work as an Architect and business owner – spanning public, commercial, and residential projects – has taught me how council decisions shape our daily lives, from housing affordability to smart, sustainable growth. You can find some of my projects on Arkspark Architecture.

I’ve served Nelson, as Branch Chair of the NZ Institute of Architects, member of the WICK Library Redevelopment Working Group, of the Nelsust Active Transport Committee and as Secretary of the Nelson College for Girls PTA. I have also been a participant in many community-based workshops such as What if Whakatu and Supernature Whakatu.

My focus for Nelson is to help create a more vibrant city that is future ready, sustainable and a fun place to live in and visit.
